Navigating Relationships and Self-Growth with Case Kenny
In this episode, I got the chance to sit down with the incredible Case Kenny. If you don’t know him, Case is a writer and host of the podcast “New Mindset, Who Dis?”, and let me just say, he has some profound insights on relationships, personal growth, and living authentically.
One of the highlights of our conversation was Case’s fresh perspective on the term “settling down.” Much like me, he’s not a fan. “Settle down” to him, and to many others, carries this notion of conceding or stagnating. Instead, Case believes in “settling up,” which means finding a relationship that truly amplifies your life experiences rather than just settling for what’s available. This was such an eye-opener and resonated deeply with my own experiences and beliefs.
We touched on themes like breaking cycles of generational trauma, maintaining individuality within relationships, and the difference between compatibility and true love. Case’s insights on confidence, rooted in introspection and vulnerability, were particularly inspiring. The idea is to embrace mistakes and continuous learning, which is something I strive to do every day.
We also touched on the idea of optimism versus cynicism. Cynicism can be such a limiting force, leading to less fulfillment and lower achievements. On the contrary, optimism and approaching life with a positive outlook can open doors to greater success and happiness. Trust and positive intentions are powerful tools in shaping our experiences.
Before we wrapped up, Case offered some practical dating advice – moving past superficial stages to form deeper connections and understanding compatibility beyond mere attraction. His thoughts on maintaining boundaries and self-awareness in relationships were particularly insightful.
This episode is a treasure trove of wisdom and actionable advice for anyone looking to enhance their personal and relational growth. I promise you, it’s one you don’t want to miss.

As a Spiritual Coach & New Thought Leader, Candace focuses on a soul-centered approach to healing. It is her belief that many of our negative “symptoms” are signs that we are out of alignment with our true selves. We have been conditioned to align with external authorities, societal ideals, out of date learning styles and perfectionistic standards.
We can’t experience or maintain true health unless we are true to ourselves. To clear unwanted symptoms, we must get back into alignment with what we FEEL.
“We are not humans having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
